Abstract: The concept of standard state runs through the entire teaching of chemical thermodynamics and serves as the foundation for understanding the spontaneity of chemical reactions and equilibrium states. Beginning with the definition of standard state, this paper thoroughly analyzes its application in the teaching of thermodynamic state functions and chemical potential, aiming to help students better comprehend and master the concept of standard state and its applications, thereby enhancing their scientific thinking and ability to analyze and solve practical problems.
