Abstract: To address the challenges in university organic chemistry laboratory instruction, including limited practical opportunities for students and ineffective pre-lab preparation and feedback mechanisms, this study developed a LabVIEW-based teaching software using the “Synthesis of Ethyl Acetate” as a prototype. The software incorporates multiple functional modules, including instructional videos, theoretical pre-tests, virtual apparatus simulation, result analysis, and reinforcement exercises. By implementing real-time feedback and an automated scoring system, it establishes a blended online-offline teaching model. Practical application demonstrates that the software effectively integrates pre-laboratory, laboratory, and post-laboratory learning phases, significantly enhancing students' operational proficiency and learning motivation. Characterized by low cost, strong subject specificity, and user-friendly operation, this software provides an innovative approach for reforming organic chemistry experimental pedagogy.
