Abstract:

Organic chemistry is one of the specialized courses integrating theoretical knowledge and scientific practice. It is an important issue for the undergraduate talent training system of chemistry and materials to promote the construction of "ideology and politics" in the teaching of organic chemistry and integrate ideological education with students' course learning closely. This paper excavates ideological and political elements from the course introduction, course content, the second class and other aspects of teaching procedure. It introduces ideological and political elements through ingenious design and multi-technical methods in course introduction. Furthermore, it finds the entry point in the curriculum content and imperceptibly transmits the ideological and political contents. Finally, it carries out extracurricular practical and innovative activities, and skillfully uses the second classroom to integrate the ideological and political contents. This paper fully excavates the potential function of professional courses in cultivating talents and strengthening morality. It infiltrates ideological and political elements into course teaching to realize the goal of "the unity of imparting knowledge and educating people" in higher education.
