Abstract: To cultivate high quality chemical talents who hold innovative and practical abilities, the College of Chemistry and Materials Science at Northwest University has implemented a systematic reform of the Inorganic Chemistry and Chemical-Analysis Experiment I course and its supporting textbook, Basic Chemistry Experiment I—Inorganic Chemistry and Chemical-Analysis Experiment. The reform aligns closely with the modular framework of the “101 Plan” for basic chemical experiments. These measures have significantly enhanced students' experimental skills and scientific research literacy. The reform has yielded substantial outcomes, offering practical insights for the advancement of basic chemistry experimental teaching.
