Abstract: Physical chemistry is an important yet difficult course for students to study in chemistry, chemical engineering and relevant major. As more and more young teachers are beginning to teach physical chemistry course in university. It is an important and urgent issue for them to promote their teaching level. In this paper, I present my own experience and advice on teaching physical chemistry such as paying great attention to exercises and experiments and linking theory with practice, in order to provide some useful suggestions for young teachers.
